Baumuller I/O components provide users with a wide range of modules for adapting to requirements in the best possible way. Industrially compatible signal types can be easily incorporated in the application for evaluation purposes.

The use of I/O islands means that the machine information can be recorded at their “origin”, transmitted to the PLC and processed.

The input and output signals are wired decentrally at field bus units and centrally at controllers.

The existing field bus units with fixed input and output configurations and designs mean that an entire group of units with similar functionality often has to be used.

The Baumuller bus terminal is an open and field bus-independent peripheral concept consisting of electronic terminal blocks.

The modular, scalable terminals can be added to bus couplers or the b maXX-controllerPLC in accordance with requirements. Many modules are available.
The user can therefore implement the machine configuration in a simple and flexible way.
