Baumuller motors – high power density with three-phase AC technology
The three-phase AC motors are internally ventilated and have IP23 protection. That means there is an extremely high power density available for the drive. Consequently a DC motor can easily be replaced by a three-phase AC motor, retaining shaft height and unit volume. Higher degrees of protection can be implemented depending on the requirements.

Injection molding

With injection molding machines the hydraulic system is partially or entirely re-placed by electric drive systems. New standards in the construction of plastics processing machines are now made possible by Baumuller due to innovative drive technology which takes into account and integrates the special require-ments for this type of machine. Blow molding

The blow molding process is extremely demanding for the plastic processing machines, and especially for the drive system. Complex molds have to be made with absolute repeatability and precision to within tenths of a millimeter.
